During this pandemic we need to sanitize our hands so im going to be telling you guys how to make homemade hand sanitizer.
MATERIALS:
1 mixing bowl
1 mixing utensil or whisk
A clean funnel
1 washed and dried bottle with a resealable lid or hand pump
A clean work area
INGREDIENTS:
⅔ cups of ethanol or 91 percent isopropyl alcohol
⅓ cups of aloe vera gel
A few drops of essential oil (optional)
(If your isopropyl alcohol is less than 91 percent, you can reduce the amount of aloe vera.)
DIRECTIONS:
Thoroughly clean the work surface with diluted bleach (⅓ cup bleach per gallon of water) and wipe dry.
Pour ingredients into the bowl and carefully combine to gel consistency.
Transfer sanitizer to the clean bottle (ideally using the funnel). The World Health Organization recommends that the concoction be allowed to cure for 72 hours to get rid of any bacteria that might have been introduced during preparation.
