FROZEN PIZZA

Today im going to be talking about my opinion on Frozen pizzas.

When im hungry after school and there is nothing to eat in my house I sometimes eat frozen pizzas. I give frozen pizzas a 7/10. The kind of pizzas I eat are the Red Baron french bread pepperoni pizza. On the pizza its topped with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni made with pork, chicken and beef. When I make the pizza I put the oven on 375 and then leave it in there for about 20 minutes. I usually take the pizza out like about 4 or 5 minutes before my timer goes off. The ingredients that’s in the pizza is: Enriched flour, Water, Mozzarella cheese, pepperoni made with pork, chicken and beef, tomato paste, contains 2% or less of: sugar modified food starch, salt, spice, dried garlic, maltodextrin, hydrolyzed soy and corn protein, paprika, dries onion, soybean oil, yeast, dough conditioner, non fat dry milk, and soy lecithin. This contains wheat, milk and soy.

POPEYES

Today im going to be talking about my opinion on Popeye’s.

Ive probably only had popeyes a couple of times before. I give it an 8/10. I really like there fries. The things ive tried from here is chicken, biscuits, fries, and the chicken sandwich I believe. When I first tasted the chicken sandwich I have been wanting to taste it for a while and then my friends cousin brought it for her at lunch at school and me and my 2 other friends split it. I only had like a little piece so I didn’t get the full experience. Then I believe a couple of days after that I texted my grandma and asked her if she can get me one and she didn’t respond but when I got out of school my mom told me that my grandma was getting me one.

Then when I got to my grandmas house she had them. She got 3 of them. She got one for her which was a regular one and she got me two which was a spicy one and a regular one so I can try both of them. Also when I got to my grandmas house she told me that she had to wait in line for about 30 minutes. To me I like the spicy chicken sandwich a little more than the regular one and when I get the sandwich I take off the pickles because I dont like pickles. The spicy one is a little more spicy then I thought it would be. The spicy one has spicy mayo as the sauce and the regular one just has regular mayo. To me the regular chicken sandwich is alright its not really that good.

CAJUN SHRIMP:

3lb of Jumbo Shrimp

3lb Salad Shrimp (minced)

20oz Bacon Bites (real crumbled bacon)

10 Tablespoons of Chopped Parsley

5 Teaspoons of Minced Garlic

10 Green Onions (thin slice)

2 Red Bell Peppers (Diced)

3 Teaspoons of Cajun Salt

5 Teaspoons of Smocked Paprika

3 Cups of Chicken Broth

3 Cups of Italian Sauce (Prego)

3 cups of Crushed Tomatoes

1 Tablespoon of Garlic Salt or Powder

1 Tablespoon of Lemon Pepper

2 Bay Leaves

1 Tablespoon of Mrs. Dash (original blend)

GRITS:

6 Cups of Quick Grits

12 Cups of Water

17 Cups of Milk

6 Bay Leaves

1lb of Butter

8 Cups of Cheddar Cheese

Salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

CAJUN SHRIMP:

Add about 1 Tablespoon of Butter/oil to pan. Followed by shrimp, saute about 10 minutes until pink. Set aside

Then add Garlic, green onions, and red pepper. About 1 cup of Broth or more. Adjust to preference . Cook about 7 to 10 minutes until tender.

Add Broth, Italian seasoning, crushed tomatoes, butter, tomato bouillon, and bay leaves. All seasoning Mrs. Dash, cajun, paprika, garlic and lemon pepper.

Then add Shrimp towards the last minute. Adjust seasoning. Remove and serve over grits.

GRITS:

Start by adding water, milk, bay leaf and salt to a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil.

Gradually whisk in the grits, until you have added the whole thing in the pot, a little at a time. Keep stirring with a whisk to prevent any lumps.

You may have to remove saucepan from heat while trying to get rid of lumps – if needed.

Reduce heat and cook grits at a bare simmer, covered, stirring frequently, until water is fully absorbed and grits thickened. This will take you about 15 minutes.

Remove grits from heat; add butter and cheese, stirring with a whisk until cheese melts.

Assemble the dish by placing the grits at the bottom of a shallow bowl, Cajun shrimp and its sauce. Enjoy piping hot!
